| Openwave seeks to exploit the use of Internet and matchmaking technologies in the development of social capital that is directed towards the creation and maintenance of an active network of health agents that not only includes the CBOs but local and federal health agencies and research institutions as well. Better resource allocation, improved service coordination and more effective health interventions will result from providing an effective means for collective action. Through the innovative use of new technologies, such as vector-based mapping and “rich client” technologies that accommodate the development of accessible interface designs for the non-expert, we developed a fully functional, web based resource that creates a network of organized reciprocity for better health.
To build such an efficient system, we made use of Flash Action Scripting with the Combination of LAMP Architecture. We used our expertise in Flash to create Flash maps which has many layers and provide interactive user friendly interface.
We have made use of the Agile Software Development methodology. |
